Arcane Quest Legends 2 spans several eras of gear — fantasy blades, samurai katanas, pirate cutlasses, and firearms all the way to sci-fi rifles. Every weapon and armor piece drops as named, level-gated variants, and each category page below lists every variant with its real in-game damage or armor, level, requirement and cost.

How equipment works in AQL2

Named variants, real numbers. Each weapon or armor type drops as a ladder of named variants unlocking at set levels — every category page shows the actual damage or armor each variant has in-game.
Level drives the numbers. An item’s damage and armor come from its level; shop and drop rolls can shift an item a level or two above or below its variant’s base, moving the numbers slightly.
Requirements only gate the shop and drops. Melee needs Strength, bows Dexterity, staves Intelligence, and firearms need no stat at all — but once an item is in your inventory, you can always equip it.
Weight classes. Heavy armor (Strength) protects most, Light (Dexterity) is the middle ground, Magic (Intelligence) is lightest — and some slots only come in some classes.
Hands. One-handed weapons free your off-hand for a shield; two-handed weapons don’t.
Affixes & gem slots. Gear rolls random magic bonuses you can move between items as enchantment stones — see the affixes guide for every bonus, its value tiers and slot rules.
